INDIGO will be presented at the ISCRAM 2012 International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis response and Management !

Talk to be held on Wednesday 25th between 10 - 12 AM.

The talk of the accepted short paper will present an innovative system for crisis management and training. The system proposes an editable Common Operational Picture, based on an interactive 3D Geographical Information System. This system can be simultaneously seen and edited through digital multitouch whiteboards and mobile equipment such as tablets. These can share multimedia reports from the field to command rooms, where a 3D photo navigation system displays real field visual information for decision support. Tablets also offer a connection from trainers to trainees during a training session as well as augmented reality possibilities to enrich the experience in the field. Moreover, underlying research findings on crisis simulations and simulation technology are discussed.
