The INDIGO consortium intends to prepare a European emergency symbology reference. This reference will include 2D and 3D symbolic representations for operations, resources, infrastructures, incidents and natural events according to their capacity or damages. It will be suitable for map representation as well as Common Operational Pictures. We are convinced that such a reference is essential to strongly enhance the understanding of a situation across organisational boundaries and the effectiveness of multi-cultural collaborations involved in critical situations

The reference documents and the produced material (TTF fonts for 2D symbols, 3D models) will be put in public domain and available in the download section of this website.
